We purchased yellow chicks at TSC sold as Easter eggers. We realize there is a wide variety of colors. Our chicks are feathering out a clear cream color, no muff or beard. Could they still be EE, or possible mislabled?

EE don't conform to any standard of perfection.. coming in bearded or non bearded varieties, straight or pea combed, etc. just like their multitude of colors.

The green legs can be a good indicator that some sort of hybridization such as EE has taken place.

They very well could be EE.. TSC is also notorious for mislabeling or mixing up chicks.

I have 3 3 week old hatchery EE pullets ( hopefully). One has a muff and feathers like a brown leghorn, one has a muff and feathers like a pheasant, the last has no muff and is a beautiful chocolate brown. All have dark green legs.
