I have 4 silkies and a cream crested leghorn. The hatchery gave me the cream crested leghorn for free.
They are auto-sexing, they have blue eggs, and this rooster is friendly and healthy and attractive.
I feed them fresh veggies, fruit and organic feed. They eat a ton of Japanese pine beetles and also greens from the garden.
I have another rooster and I think they would be better off apart.
The rooster has a white silkie hen that he is friendly with, I would optionally give as well. I'd be willing to pay a re-homing fee.
I live in Highlands Ranch.
