As long as he turns out to be well behaved and you have the space, I see no need to rehome him. Roosters are fun to have around!I can have them , I just can’t do all the work that they cause to happen. That’s why I was thinking of making him a Capon. (Just looked that up).

Keeping a rooster is fun and as long as you can have him, handle the crowing, he is friendly and collect eggs daily there isnt a problem keeping him in my opinion
