Cream legbar cross barnvelder

Has anyone crossed crested cream legbar hen with barnvelder roo.
Any pictures ? What will they look like. Will they be olive egg layers.
I was told they would be able to sex them as chicks.

I don't think the chicks would be down sex able at hatch. What color Barnevelders do you have?

Yes, the hens from that cross will lay olive eggs. The shade of green or olive will depend on how dark of an egg the Barnevelder hatched from.

Yes, the chicks would be sexlinked and many should lay green or olive eggs depending on how dark of egg genetics the father is carrying. Male chicks will be barred and have a head-spot and pullets will not.
