So I have a CL roo and CL hens to breed but,
I read somewhere that autosexed golden comets when you breed golden comets together you don’t get a golden comet chick.
Is this true? And does this happen with CL too? Or would I be able to get auto sexed cream legbar chicks?

You are confusing autosexing with sex-linkage. An autosexing breed breeds true, and has genes to enhance the differences between male and female chick down, namely the barring gene on an e+ wild type or eb partridge base.

A red sex link, however, is created by putting a red Cockerel over silver hens. As hens only have one "slot" for ground-colour, all the pullets will get one red gene from dad. The boys, however, have two, a red from dad and silver from mum. As silver is dominant over gold, the male chicks will display as silver.

So this means my legbars would breed true?
