Cream Legbar still not laying

How old is Mellow Now?

What does she eat, and what was she raised on?? Do you have other Cream Legbars from her same hatch that did start to lay?

It seems that she should be laying according to clock time, but if her comb needs to flop over before she begins---then she isn't ready yet. Waiting for eggs -- is that the hardest part of hen raising? Good luck with your pullet..... maybe give her a little pep talk.

I may have read on a UK sight that if Cream Legbars are born later in the spring, they won't begin to lay for the first year...Your bird may be proving that theory.

Have to confess, I've not heard that

When my girl came into lay it was green/blue and now bluey/green; no white.

The main thing is: she is laying!

My cream legbar's comb has just started to flop over does that mean she will start laying soon? because if she doesn't considering my toes are always pecked by her she may just become curry.
