Cream Legbar Working Group: Standard of Perfection

Silver and cream are not genetically paired. You can have a silver hen that might be hiding either gold or cream. Cream and gold are also genetically paired but seperately from silver. Enjoying the conversation on type... deep sigh. If only I had an adult rooster to do a comparison with. Can the angle of sickles differ from the rest of the tail?

this much is correct, seems some people got confused by Punnett(even if he said no pairing was present on a later note)

a silver hen can´t hid gold because it can only have one copy of gold or one copy of silver, what the hen may hide is Autosomal Red which is another trait all together
Cream and gold are also genetically paired but seperately from silver.
this is not correct, Cream is an Autosomal Recessive, Gold is a recessive sex link gene, different chromosome

I'm confuzzled, as usual. Please tell me about autosomal recessive and recessive sex link genes. Thanks!
let me make this simple ok..

I will use humans as example...

humans have 2 types of chromesomes, Sex chromosomes(XY for males and XX for females) and Autosomes, a recessive sex linked gene is located on a sex chromosome, a recessive autosomal gene is located on an autosomal chromosome

Yes, Blackbirds you can provide review. Use GaryDean26 and RedChicken9 (mine) and review the pre-draft I put up a few pages back.

Everyone, if you are serious about having a standard, then review and evaluate here the posting on the male shape (post 425). This is the APA format. First it lists shape for both male and female, than color. If there is not review and consensus building on shape (form), we will not succeed on color. Let's focus on form! The best appreciation for this breed is your review and input. Whether you have a male or not, please discuss the standards compared to yours or others, the BPS, and the Punnet legbar figure. Post your input with a line by line review. Use GaryDean26 as an example.
