Cream Legbar Working Group: Standard of Perfection

I posted a blurp on the club facebook page.

It appears I am not allowed to post in the main thread but only in the "visitor" section that I had not even noticed was there before.

Maybe they really did abscond with my membership dues and gave me nothing..... teary-eyed-emoticon.png

I know it is a nothing issue, but I am really starting to think input from legbar owners is not as important as the input from the people on the board to keep their birds being the only ones to win at any show....

Its my paranoia I am sure.

I am happy!! Kind of.

Some kind soul on the legbar club FB site moved my posting from visitor to the main body!

I also am able to respond to the comments... I am in whoever did it's debt.

I am glad to see 2 people responded so far. I am still tilting at windmills, but feeling better about it now... and the legbar club as a whole!

I just read the SOP for the crested cream legbar and with all of the color other than cream that they are proposing how will they differ from golden crele????

I am not sure, however, I know you can get pure cream if you work at on the roosters for sure, I have more trouble on hens...I wonder if the are big tenting the cream for now and Eliminating everything good crele in the future...just a guess...I got a email from the president of the club it appears the club does not have as much say in the SOP as one would think. The APA seems to dictate somewhat what is included, I still maintain smaller combs and larger crests...but as I said I am tilting at windmills.

Btw I have a test breeding going in around mid July...fingers crossed I have the pure cream hens:fl

Now would you like to hear how happy my wife is with me for hatching in August?:lau:lau
