How do they look as adults? I've never seen a pure Cream Legbar chick look like this. I bred them for 5 years and never got one like this.

Like normal Cream Legbars but with too much gold in the crest, over the wings, in the hackles and saddles and females have a buff coloured chest instead of salmon.

They are mostly pure and just lower quality. But some are from hybridised lines that are sold off as pure. They’re similar to easter eggers being sold as Ameraucana

I’ll take a look on Preloved tonight, that site is the best for people selling Sussex as Brahma and clear cockerels as hens.

I went for a quick look so this is what Cream Legbar based hybrids (in UK) look like

Then these are some CL chicks, you can see there are a few like OP’s

And this is a cockerel with, from what I’ve read, too much gold to breed good CL from.

My pullet in my PFP does not have very good dilution. But this is quite common in backyard bred Cream Legbar (here it is anyway).

I’m quite new to the breed stuff but they’re one of my favourites so I’ve been doing some research.
