I'm used to broilers (Ross 308), only done one brood before this lot. This mix of pure breeds I have are so much more "wild". The Ross I have left are very calm friendly birds, I'll be interested to see how different the pure breeds end up.
Hmm good point. I have seen mostly white breasts with some black/ great barring. His chest has only really feathered in the last couple of days, I wonder how white it will stay, maybe he is an accidental mix!
Nice photo studio. He is certainly allot paler than that! I think I'll post some pictures of him on cream legbar thread, I guess there will be one. I went out to look him over again and his chest does have some not white in it, but very little. Your cockerel seems to have a solid coloured chest or is that still down?
I was wondering if he could have been a mix of some kind, but I do not know what CLB's look like in England. As I said all I have to compare them with are the ones I have here in Minnesota.
