Cream Legbars

This winter was very hard on my rooster. He has lost two toes and all of his toe nails. I was wanting to show him but would he be disqualified for this?

I would think so although I have never shown myself. Have you fixed the coop problems that led to the toe losses?

Ok, so I went to check the bank account before sending bills out and there's a ton of $90 charges from walmart.com
Turns out someones been charging phone cards which can be sent to an email address (not ours) to activate. Now it'll take 7-10 days to dispute the charges.

HOW ANNOYING.... Glad you caught it quick though!

I have another set of eggs due sometime this week or next depending on the seller's broody cooperation so it will be helpful to see if any tweaking results in a higher yield. It would also be nice to get input from anyone with stellar hatches on their eggs on any tips they have discovered that might be unique to the breed.

x2.

Also -- perhaps it would be useful to compile a database of hatch info with shipped/unshipped eggs, # days stored, temp, humidity (first 17 days and lockdown), # days to hatch, # live, dead in shell, etc. etc. we could have a form to fill out on the website, and then it would go to the database. Is this workable?

OK Anyone remember these guys? I kept the left and right ones to see how they grew out. Left boy got a pink band, right boy got a yellow band.

Here they are a month or so ago:

And here they are today. First orange band- who I didn't like as much a month ago and I still don't like as much today:

Next Pinky:

I'm pretty pleased with how he is growing out!

Here's a few from Sunday's hatch. I am sure hatching a lot of boys the last few weeks. Got another white one, I seem to get one or two per month. Wonder if I am sexing them right because they have all looked like girls to me... go figure! Anyway I had a REALLY light boy hatch out but neglected to take a photo before I sold him in a quad to someone local. The reason I wanted to post the pictures is that gray girl. ALL of my girls have been the classic warm brown like the female on the right. The very last egg to hatch that I thought wouldn't make it was this tiny gray girl! Has anyone hatched one and grown it out? I am going to mark her and see how she turns out. I'm keeping 3 girls and probably none of the boys out of this hatch.
