Question, only one egg?

Just got some cream legbars a couple of day ago! So excited!any tips on breeding?
I'm fairly new to chickens and CLB most of all but like most chickens if you don't want flighty birds plenty of socializing is needed.
Just by way of general advice.
Boys and girls in this breed are so different and they go through lots of changes for quite a while so take lots of notes on their development.
Lovely birds and you may want to really pay attention to egg colors too.

Grow the first generation out for five or six months and keep notes or tag the birds. That way you will know how you birds feather out. Then only breed the cream ones. The Gold ones should be culled and removed from your breeding program.

Thanks. He's my little buddy. He is the father of many generations of Svart Hona in this country. He also wants my Cream Legbar pullets. He does his little dance every time they go wandering by his pen. I keep telling him, no way buddy. That's all I need: fibro Cream Legbars.

I scored a 14 on the hue acuity test!

Tahū!

aloha, Puhi

WAY TO GO!!!!! Was it in the blue and green range that was hardest for you too?

I scored a 3. I had to take a pic to prove it to my DH lol. He has better eyes than I do but I must see color better than him because he didn't score as well.
