Cream Legbars

Sorry to monopolize . . .

Would anyone like to do a small egg swap this summer? I've never mailed eggs and don't currently have plans to sell them that way, but I would be interested in an exchange to see how well it works and avoid too much inbreeding from one hen and one roo.
Count me in! That would be a great idea to have a "Cream Legbar Club" egg swap!

These are my 2 girls from my hatch last September. Plus a Photo of one of the males! We have had so much snow in London the last few days. the chickens were not very confident about adventuring out today!

I see a great contestant for the "craziest crest" contest!

What a handsome roo you have!

Hey y'all I was wondering if any of u guys would have any cream legbar chicks for sale this spring? I've tried hatching but the eggs are soooo expensive .... At least last time I bought them they were 12.00 an egg ........!!

What area are you in? The Cream Legbar Club can probably get you in touch with someone near you. We have CLC members all over the USA. Plus the club just may be offering free hatching eggs periodically through contests (both for CLB owners and not yet owners) this year.

This might seem like a really weird question. In December we hatched a lot of eggs at one time - almost all shipped. We have two birds which we think may be Crested Cream Legbars but are not sure. What would they look like at 7-8 weeks?

Thanks :)

I've been looking at this breed for a few months now and cannot find consistent information on their average annual egg production.

I am looking for a highly productive breed to lay blue(not green) eggs. What kind of egg production are you getting from your Cream Legbars? How blue are their eggs compared to Americaunas? And like everyone else in this thread - who in my state (Western Washington) might have some for sale
