Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!First pullet egg today! I found it in the bedding when I was catching all of the birds for NPIP testingWoohoo!!!
I have 4 girls and 1 roo coming next week and did not know to ask what lines they are. I just assumed they would be the latest one developed. Thanks for the tip; I will ask for sure.I got my chicks in September (I prefer fall hatches to save on feed over the winter)
Anyway, I had no idea about the different lines when I bought from GFF so I did not know to ask when I bought them. However, I emailed them a copy of the shipping invoice last week and they were able to tell me that my order was lines A and B. They responded within 24 hours to my question, which I thought was pretty good. Has anyone else emailed them to confirm what lines they were shipped?
Thanks. He wasn't fabulous but I figured I would at least hatch out some chicks from the pair and bring in some unrelated stuff to put with them, Just don't know if I want to start over from scratch, ya know? What's the soonest folks have had them lay? I see some started birds over on Rarebreeds, just hate to have to feed stuff all spring/summer again, I need *something* to help with the feed bill, everything ate all winter and did nothing, sigh.Awe so sorry to hear that! Hopefully someone can help you out. I just sold my last spare on Tuesday. All I have are baby boys. Good luck on your search!

Does anyone have a Mature spare Rooster? Something got in my pen last night and my Rooster died defending his hen.I'm in NY (Near Rochester) but I am going to Louisville KY next month if anyone has one along my route? I'm bummed that I fed them all winter and like weeks before I can start hatching eggs something kills it.
