Here's Lucy's first pullet egg. I'll see if I can get some better recent ones. Do you have an online Auction Chart (OAC)? That is easier to discuss than photos.

Nice eggs Y'all and nice colors!!! OAC is a color chart where people in different locations can look at the same color without the computer differences and photo differences (blue is REALLY had to photograph) - The blue layer associations Ameraucana and Aracana Clubs have also created charts that show the colors of blue. ohmergerd! I completely forgot you sent me one when I joined the CLB club!! time to dig it out and get a blue reference for the egg!!

I think the OAC256 is a lighter blue than I would like, but hey, they don't judge the eggs (yet) so we can have variation there. I like just to the left of that the 255!

Not to be troublesome but i clicked on the link it said page not found could the link be off? So is this chart something that can be mailed if you join a club?

Someone bought a batch of these (because it made them cheaper) when we were first discussing making a club, and mailed one to each person who said they wanted one until they were gone. Then the Southern Regional Director, Kestlyn Penley, decided to purchase one to send to each new member in her region. Maybe soon the club will be in a position that they can send one to each new member no matter the region. I think it will be a year or two before we are certain that membership levels are stable enough to do that. But it would be cool!

But there are lots of other great perks to being a club member- genetics discussions, newsletters, contests (WITH PRIZES!), a google Clubhouse with all the past club documents, etc. You should join!
