Hey! I think we agreed you can be a crazy chicken lady and not have any chickens at all. Now THAT is chicken math. I have 4 breeds of chickens and not a single one yet.. but I have them. Maybe they are all in my head (that's the crazy part), but I have them, lol.

We have a styrofoam incubator. To separate the eggs into groups, I made "custom size" dividers from plastic canvas. I got it in the crafts section of wally world, 3 pk. 12" x 18" for about $3. It worked OK, but I am planning on laced them together into complete baskets with spider wire fishing line. Should be more stable.

Sold 20 pullets today. All done for the year. Kept a few. Gonna grow out this last batch of chicks in the grow out pen for next spring. Just waiting on the boys now. The girls are slowing down so much with the weather change - here comes winter.
