Cream Legbars

thank you Kestlyn. I brought them in the house today to introduce them to meal worms :) Mike is amazed at how tame they are. He likes the names Winston & Anne.

Well....they may or may not have been spoiled by two little girls ;) if you want to see them go crazy try giving them oats :D

LOL- if you want to watch a feeding frenzy. Add some warm water to Quaker or other rolled oats. Then take the warm oats to your chicks. Scoop some on your fingers and let the chicks feed on this. Once they take the first few bites, you will be lucky to walk away without missing a finger or two.

Yes they do love leftover oatmeal at our house!

Since we were recently on the topic of what everyone sells day old CL pullets for, I was just on craigslist for my area and there is someone that is selling their CL pullets(day olds mind you) for $100 each. I find that to be outrageous. All of their day old chicks(including Olive Eggers) have a starting price of $30 as day olds and go up from there depending on breed. Crazy, but maybe they have some nice chickens

I was just on the Greenfirefarms website and was looking to see what the rees chicks were going for and wondered if anyone has ordered any rees chicks yet?

As much as I would like to get some of the Rees line of cream legbars, the price is more than I can justify.

I dont think their worth it. Even if they would have left the price the same as last year they wouldnt be worth it
