Cream Legbars

Thanks ChitKat, very helpful. I think I am going to try and find some hatching eggs from the Rees line.

Not the best pics they were not being very cooperative All 11 weeks old

All the boys have floppy combs but number 2 looks very different from the other 2

Shorter neck and more brown and feathers seem to stick out everywhere on back and shoulders.

Reevaluations:
My star cockerel was found dead in the garden last week :( So now I'm reassessing my two runner-ups. I also bought a bunch of Rees chicks on RBA, so I have 7 of them coming, but they will be several months before I can make a call on them.

This guy has no crest, so I was going to just use him in my Isbar autosexing project. But I REALLY like his body type. Would love opinions on him, as I am still learning

Rooster number two. He is more upright, and way too much chestnut ( especially the red crest, that's not good, right?) I was planning on taking him to the sale in a few weeks, but that would leave me with only the uncrested guy if I wanted any breedings yet this year.

And the uncrested photo bombing. He has quite the personality

So very sorry to hear that you lost your preferred rooster...Doesn't that haunt us - while raising chickens.

Mr. PhotoBomb - is telling you in no uncertain terms that he is the best choice.

to my eyes, longer back, rounder breast, better carriage.
crest is a dominant gene and you can add it in -- pretty easily from what I hear...good type, good crest and wattles a bit more difficult to obtain/maintain.
good luck with the process....
