I don't know how you guys feel about FF, but I decided to give the chicks a taste tonight. They cleaned the bowl. I didn't expect it to go over so well with them.

Mine love FF. I feed it year round. I actually bring the bucket of it in and set it on my counter over the winter so it won't freeze lol

I am guessing FF is fermented feed? Do you make it?

Yes, sorry about that. I do if the weather is decent. I feed it to everyone around here, but usually just feed dry when it gets to freezing or below. I will say it does save on waste. Young chicks I've always fed dry, but thought I'd give these guys a try. They seemed a little upset the bowl was empty

I make mine in a 5 gallon bucket. It works great so far, it's been enough for my flock of 30 chickens and 7 turkeys. If I grow my flock anymore, it's going to be rough to keep up with lol
