I saw a picture and description on the web of a pair of Cuckoo Self Blue Cochin Bantams. I contacted the person and learned he lived in Spain. I was told he was unaware of any of these birds in the U.S. It is my understanding that this variety is a cross between a Buff Barred and a Self Blue Cochin bantam. Since I have both of these varietie's, I would like to try this project. Although I have raised poultry all my life, I have never delved into poultry genetics, so I do not know where to begin. Does anybody have any suggestions or know anything about this color variety? Thanks.
