Yeah but they might have lines father aklong or they might have a few generations already. they could tell you what they learned as well as yall could trade eggs and such if they are pure.

Sometimes it's hard to tell from a photo, but they look more khaki than dark to me. There are khaki runners and I think there are also khaki calls too. What breeds were your original stock? They wouldn't be campbells unless they were bred from campbells and have the super egg laying ability.

You really didnt make dark campbells because they were already a breed. And I also think they are khakis rather than dark. Here are some pictures I just got by googling khaki campbell.

It is entirely possible, if not probable, that the hen is Khaki since the brown dilution is sex-linked. The male does not look Khaki to me personally, but Khaki varies a lot as does Dusky.

Posting pictures of the parents would probably help a lot. If the female offspring is Khaki, then the father was probably Khaki.

How is this going to be a new breed if all you're working on is another color of an already existing breed? Are those two birds mallards, mixes, or what?

acually no im not working on just a color but a breed with a different khaki color in the breed im working with i bred 2 whole dramaticly different colors but not just color, breed 2
