Creating article - no way to create a table?

Was thinking of creating an article, but I cant find a way to insert or create a table. I would have to make a table to keep my data (alot of it) neatly arranged and displayed. Is there a way to make a table?

As I understand it, when we switch to the new version of Xenforo this will be much easier.

Do it in Word, then take a screenshot. Or link it, so that you can update it.

Thanks. That would be a painstaking task considering the size of the table I would need to do. I thought there might be a way to just type data into a preformatted table. Will the new version of Xenforo do this?

If you give me the size of the table you want to create, e.g. 3x3, I can give you the bbcode for one.

You could also use this, then just copy and paste the code:

For that to work, you might have to remove the spaces between the bbcode tags.

I actually have it in an ".ods" file format now. I use Openoffice and I don't know if Word and Openoffice are really that compatible so that anyone can open the file and it display correctly. I have never used Word.

The information is more than what my screen can show (probably 2-3 screens wide) so it would have to be multiple screenshots merged together. I don't know if that will look good if that happens.

Looks like it is 39w x 19h. Will that even fit onto the artile page properly?

With the new version of XenForo, the max table size with the insert table function is 10x10. You could create a google spreadsheet, take a screenshot of that, and put the screenshot in the article.
