Creating Experimental Black Crele Chickens (Different Genetics, new variety)

I’m not really into Silkies at all. I’ve debated getting them for broodies, but I’ve never committed. I find them not very aesthetically pleasing.
Get some LF Cochins instead, hatchery stock is fine. Have a half dozen from a hatchery trying to hatch rocks (actual rocks, not the Plymouth Rock chicken breed). Some are happy with trying to hatch pine shavings.

I’ve had Cochins and I like them. I just wish I could find something broody that laid a white egg. It would make picking out the Orpingtons brown eggs to hatch much easier. Salmon Faverolles have always been Brody for me, and their eggs are smaller and creamy/tinted. But I’ve had no luck finding any.

Updated Father Daughter photo. She's almost the same size as her dad.
