I'm a first timer to pet chickens and from Chick-ago. So having chickens isn't common.
I have two Game Fowl which recently become parents of 9. Accommodations for the rooster and hen where interesting and intriguing, since my girlfriend didn't want to keep the pair outside. I agreed after my roo got to sneezing after leaving him outside for a few hours. Yet, thanks to BYC tips and suggestions he was nursed back to health.
BYC also aided me with ideas for inside the house housing (cages and coops). She wanted to keep them in the kitchen so...! I previously posted my creation and have currently upgraded it to suit the new nine. This is fun!
!!! NOW, I'M HOOKED ON CREATING COOPS AND CAGES !!!
I have another 4x4 cages in my addict that I'm going to put on the included back porch and a 3rd, dresser / entertainment center type, I'm playing Builder Bob with.
I'm posting pics periodically of what I have McGyver'd and I hope many others do the same on this thread and throughout BYC.
I hope to help others with ideas, just as I was.
