I do agree with you all. Yes, she is my husbands sister. She has had problems for as long as I have known her, and she has taken money from many people over the years, which is why she has been in jail in the past. In fact it has just been the last year (out of 17) that she has been around. She really seemed to be doing well, and trying to do what is right, but she fooled us all. She has kids but they are all married and on their own and most of them have disowned her already. I think I will report it if it comes down to that. I am hoping that the credit card companies will come after her, and that neither myself or my FIL will have to do it. My FIL & MIL did get life lock after this happened, and we are looking into it.

Being family doesn't give them a free pass to use you.
Yes she might go to jail,its called being held accountable.
If she does the deed then she accepts the consequences.
