Wait until the day you free-range them. They are WILD THINGS. I let them out in the morning, and they VANISH. Don't see them again until sundown, then all of a sudden, POOF! There they are!

Hi Monarc and Ninja! I'm back to the land of the living for the most part after an AWFUL cold! I was sick in bed over the weekend and didn't have it in me to post pics!

We have 6 adorable little cuties. We had to cull the one "blackie" chick that hatched from an Orp egg.

It's little leg was all wrong.

The others are doing very well. One of the Orp chicks has slight feathering on it's legs, the others don't. It was so fun to see what hatched! I think it may be more fun to hatch "mutt" eggs cause you don't know what you'll get!

Wow, you got a lot of blondies! Some of them look like they have those reddish "hairs" around the head and back...should be interesting! Looks like you had a good hatch.
