This is the first cross between a partridge wyandotte and a barred wyandotte. I think you could work with this to develope better crele pat

tern.

What you see here is "extended black" plus barring. Note the wing triangle is dark.
Black birds need melanizers to become full blacks.
These melanizers can go "offline" if you cross black/cuckoo/barred with non black.

Many people think that it is the partridge leaking through, but it is not.
