crested cream legbar and blue australorp rooster crosses with other breeds, what can I expect?

as my chooks are getting closer to breeding age I was wondering if there would be a difference in outcomes between Blue Aust x CCL VS. CCL x Blue Aust?

I am thinking one will result in barred males and the other barred females or will everything be barred?

Non-barred male over barred female is a sexlink -- all males single barred and all females solid.

The reverse is not a sexlink. IIRC, all chicks will be single-barred if the male is double-barred or half will be barred if he's single-barred.

:)

Yes, that sounds right. If the rooster is a pure Cream Legbar, he should be double-barred, so all his chicks will have barring.
