Crested Cream Legbar X Wellsummer/Lohmann Browns anyone? (photos)

They are 17 weeks old now. Even though the females are crested cream Legbar x wellsummer they look just like pure crested cream legbars. I can't see anything in them to suggest they are half wellsummer. I didn't get a female from a lohmann brown eggs so don't know how they would have look.

Have they started laying yet if so what color is the eggs?

No not yet.
My CCL at the start of the year didnt start laying till about 24 weeks old so might be a few weeks yet. Will update when I get an egg!

So they have all grown up and gone their separate ways..

We decided to keep 2 females. They have grown to be larger than the pure Cream Legbar females but virtually look identical. The only difference being the slightly smaller hat of feathers on the crosses. I will take some up to date photos of the 2 females and get them on here.

The most interesting part of this for me was to see what the egg colour would be form these brids. I was told they could be olive green.

And I was so pleased when this was laid last month! We have been having them ever since!
