1 of mine is a sport too. I don't care.

Yep, poor down hatch. They are supposed to be easily identifiable between the genders. If not, then that’s something to work on.Here they are today....so I’m guessing it’s more poor coloring?

They turn...So I wanted to post here and ask. I had a hatch yesterday morning. All of the chicks but 1 are marked normally but this one chick. So after reading this does this mean it will turn colors and have markings or will it just be white?
This is my first go around with CCL but I just know they are referred to as a “sport” both mine were cockerels and still had a faint white spot on their head.So what do you call this? Since it won't be staying white?
Are my Legbars cockerels with the poor down hatch okay to use for breeding? The two pictures were my only two cockerels, others were all female. All of my White Legbars looked exactly like that as chicks.
If you can tell the sex of the chick with 100% accuracy then it doesn’t really matter I’d say. Maybe try switching out the roo you are using to see what happens, unless that’s the only roo you have. Are my Legbars cockerels with the poor down hatch okay to use for breeding?
