cream crested legbars have wacky feather coloring when they are small. i also have 5 legbar chicks and they are doing the same thing.

I was told it was a sign of lymphoid leukosis ?
Hi! I was curious so I did some research on lymphoid leukosis in chickens (specifically Crested Cream Legbars) and found nothing describing feather patterns or coloring as a sign of LL. In fact, I found a very detailed necropsy from Texas A&M on a CCL with lymphoid leukosis and they describe the bird as having "excellent feathering."

Not sure where you heard the feather coloring could be a sign of this disease but if you could provide a link, I'd like to see it.
