Crested duck not walking

I don't know if anyone has said this yet, but crested ducks are know to have seizures and the like. I don't know if this could be a result of that. Someone more experienced in crested ducks might know more about this. I think @Miss Lydia and maybe @Soon2BChixMom are good at that stuff, but I can't remember...there are so many awesome people on here I can't remember who is who!

The only thing I know about crested ducks is that it is a genetic abnormality and causes issues which could be contributing to the duck not walking.

Ok...sorry if I added you in when you might not know much in this subject. It might have been someone else that I was thinking of.

Not sure what the sign in is. The link must have changed.

I'd use it. get him started asap

Now about crested yes it is an abnormality and they can have seizures. But what do we do just sit and watch them die? Nope we try all we can to help them it maybe the crest and it maybe a niacin deficiency could be both. So if mine I would try the B complex it's not expensive and you don't have to have a prescription and what they don't use they will pee out. Here is someone who didn't give up.

@CayugaJana Where are you?

I went ahead and gave her half the dosage last evening as I wasn't sure if it would be too much. I gave her the full dose this morning. She's still weak and tired but is eating, drinking, pooping, and seems happy other wise so even if it is a crested issue as long as she isn't suffering I won't be giving up just because she's crested.
