Okay so I have two white (which I think are pekins) and 1 grey (I think is a mallard) crested ducks. Had them about 8or9 months now and I know for fact one is a female, my bigger white one. Now the problem is my smaller white one has been acting strange lately. Not really moving around just hanging out in a spot unless her mate (the grey one quacks at her to move lol) she seem to be depressed I guess but sad and outta energy really. Now shes had a few cuts in hee right foot middld toe in the creases and I pur blue kote on it and healed it after a week of treatment but idk what her problem is. We feed em purina bird gamechow and maybe 2 cups of cracked corn a day. They have a pool that has a filter and are in a 150sqft cage with hutch at night time they live in.(overkill) wondering the yard most days in a fenced area no other animals but wild birds and squirrels. So what can I do.... ive seen she might have worms or not enough nutrients or just sad so idk... I need some experenced help please. No physical signs of anything but just low energy and not really moving.. please help cause the wife is getting worried. Any help or advice is appreciated.one is of her foot before It healed and the other is the newest bringing them to the vet getting their wings clipped.

A few possibilities - she could have picked up an infection in the bloodstream from the food injury. Not extremely likely, but possible.

If she is crested, they have tendencies toward neurological problems, so nutrition is vital. Corn has calories, not so much nutrients. I would back off on that - cut it by half at least, if not replace that with sprouted wheat seeds for treats and extra calories.

Also, I would put 100 mg of niacin per gallon of drinking water for a month and see if that helps. Or you could sprinkle two tablespoons of brewer's yeast on their food each day.

A good poultry vitamin mix once a week would also be a good idea.

If they are going to the vet, you could ask the vet to see if she has some kind of infection, and have her feces tested for parasites as well.

Thank you for the help and seems to be getting better aka moving around a little more and talking a little bit more. I got them a liquid vitamin that goes in water plus they have plain water and a pellet thats a poultry booster with that 1000 mg of niacin in it but I only use like a tablespoon of pellets per 1 lbs of food. But the one thing I noticed this morning is her chest seem to be bigger than my other one. Heres some pictures. Do you think a cold or any ideas?

The one on the right is the one thats not doing good. The left white one is all good but the right one looks like her chest is bloated. I felt her and it seems okay but idk
