Crickets!

Live traps?

Unrelated- when our garage has crickets, we just let the girls in. We have to move stuff so they can get at the crickets, but everybody's gone (crickets got eaten, chickens left cause there's no more crickets) within 5 minutes.

Just be careful nobody's spraying anything around your place (weedkillers, etc.). Crickets go into places to die like elephants (I think). HOWever, nobody sprays anything near us, so we're OK.

I've heard (haven't tried it yet but plan to this summer) that if you leave a towel outside on the grass overnight, the crickets will congregate under it. Next morning, all you need to do is flip it over and let them have at it.
