Crinkly Comb?

I don't know how to describe it. LOL I wanted to say wavy or wiggly.


I don't know if this is normal? I've read so much about the comb indicating illness and I'm super paranoid. It also changes color throughout the day. Sometimes it'll be pale pink and then others deep red.


Neither are laying or molting.

That’s normal, many chickens have wavy or different shaped combs. She’s very pretty!

Combs appears in apparent good health. A little color change during the day can sometimes simply mean temperature fluctuation affecting blood flood to the area.

She looks normal! The combs can get crinkly and floppy as they get older. She’s beautiful!

Thank! I'm very lucky to have found these ladies in a petshop. I just went in for dog food and came back with a chicken.
