Cripple Keet all tangled mess :o( *pics*

I have done the bandaid and the rubberband methods for days on end. The keet is now two weeks and has had one method or another on her legs every day since hatch.

I don't have any chickens yet to hatch anything out for us, or we would have. We also thought the incubation would be a great home school lesson for the kids, which is was! We just started over - we lost our farm about 5 years ago when my husband fell ill and it took me a while to get the little place we are in now.

Anyway, It feel like the leg itself is rotated up at the hip. Is this possible or just from the spraddle leg? I keep the legs about an inch apart but the goofy leg still want to go behind the normal leg. I've been closing the gap to keep it closer and adding stiffness between the two legs, but now it just won't do anything at all. It won't even try to do anything.

The stinken breeder who sent the guinea eggs wrote the colors on each egg and I watched this lavender egg the whole time. I am having a hard time that the egg I wanted the most was one of the few to hatch and yet the only one with an issue. LOL. It's my luck!!!

Yes, I have, thank you! I was reading this today. I have spent a LOT of time in the last 24 hours pushing to find anything to get her legs working for her. Well, ok - I have been putting a LOT of time in anyway but over the last 48 it's been rigorous... more so by the hour...

At the moment, I have that sports tape on the bottom part of her legs. It's wide, so it keeps her whole lower half of her leg incapacitated - but it also keeps her from turning her leg out... so you win some you lose some.

I tried making a chicken chair - but can't keep her in it... anyone know of pics of successful ones?
