Crochet 2009 Fall Hexagon swap. SIGNUPS CLOSED

I sent 3 dozen eggs to work with my hubby this morning. I had to get rid of some since we leave on our trip on Wednesday. My neighbor will get rid of the ones she collects while we're gone. I think I'll make some custard later on with what I have left.

I'll only be gone two weeks but I had to have room in the refrigerator for the ones she'll collect and won't be able to use. She has chickens herself so she won't use up mine. I have neighbors that get eggs off me and she'll call them but at ten eggs a day I'll have a bunch. We got our screen door up that we built and it came out very well for a pair of old amateurs.

We have a month and 10 days! Anyone else getting close to being done? Not trying to rush, just checking and thought I would make this a reminder.

I'm home!!!! 4300 miles, 14 states and 14 days later. It was fun and we had a good time visitng DH's family and going to the Oklahoma Wesleyan reunion. Saw snow, rain, fog, wind and some flooding but we arrived home safe. It's good to be home. My G. Shepherd was glad to see us. Our neighbor took good care of everything for us. We did lose one of the chickens, tho, and my zebra finches have laid 4 eggs.
