Well I got caught hooking in the library this afternoon. It caused quiet a stir.

A lady asked me what I was hooking for, I said, "a baby"

I bust out laughing and nobody knew what I was laughing about.

It WAS a baby 'ghan!

Im just doing the basic granny square, of course this is my first time crocheting ( a uhm o hookin' I mean

Deb I got some yarn thats rainbow like that but more of a pastel and then I am alternating with a sage green color kind of on the same line that you have done yours (different designs on each one)-I need to post a picture

Im not feeling too good-I had a dental implant in the back of my mouth and my jaw is starting to ache really bad. So, I think it may be infected or something. I go to the oral surgeon on Monday. All my joints are aching too. Now I just heard something about getting implants and then causing joint pain. If that is the case I am getting it removed because it is not worth it. If anybody knows anything about this please tell me. Thanks

Hope you feel better Kris, I know it's had to hook when you don't feel well. Ya'll are doing sooooo great, I am so excited about everyone's participation!! I look soooo forward to seeing what everyone will make!!! I do still think I am going to make a bag like Jacie posted, although not being a seamstress I was thinking the lining might be felt so it wont ravel and require so much sewing, lol!!

Ya'll have a great day hookin...I'm gonna re-post the list so you can see who all is in the swap in case you might see them on the board today and maybe check on their hookin, lol!! I know Prissy is finished although she is a quiet one...probably busy quilting! but the rest, like Peeps, I have not heard a thing from. Kris, throw an ice pack on and take a pain reliever every 4 hours whether you need it then or not.....don't wait til it starts hurting to take something!!!

Hello Happy Hookers! I have so many pages to catch up on.

Thanks Bantychick (Tammy) for checking up on me! Sorry........I've been around, but had a lot going on w/ the holiday & dd had spring break.

My......My! We have some quick hookers, easy hookers, skilled hookers, hookers getting hit by cars, hookin the the libraries, chatting by dh hookin & w/ hens....I just can't keep up. But I have to say after seeing everyone's squares that ya'll are some really talented hookers. Hope you won't be disappointed in mine. These are the very first granny squares I've ever made. I'll post a pic soon. I think I have a little over 20 complete, but I'm going to keep making them.

I've done a little hooking in dd school parking lot in the car waiting for her to get out of school, a little at dd soccer games on the weekend, but mainly been keeping the hookin to home.

I hope no one is allergic to cats. I have 3. My Winky boy wants to curl in my lap at night while I hook and the other 2 just want to attack it.

Shelly how is your arm doing? I hope you are feeling better.

Kris, I had an implant....a dental implant, not breast implants, but I guess that would sound better w/ this thread. Did you just have the implant done? PM me if you have any questions. Mine was a long process. It takes a while for it to feel better.

I'm having a lot of fun hookin. We are going to have a wild projects!!! What's everyone going to make with theirs?

I'll try to check in more often.

Thanks Tammy and Darlene--I will keep on hookin though !!!! yesterday I did two squares instead of one like I usually do and I wooke up with my right hand all swollen up

well I guess I will just do one a day! I cant even imagine how you do it Shelly with your broken hand and cast

I got time now I think I will make one b4 supper
