Update: DS is doing better with his asthma only coughing a bit now, but is covered in poison ivy. It is in every nook and cranny (and I mean EVERY nook and cranny) starting with his eyes and ears all the way to his toes. He came home from school and told me him and his friend were cleaning vines out of the woods. I asked him if they were poison ivy vines and he said, "No mom, they didn't have three leaflets. They didn't have ANY leaves, so they were safe."

I got three new chicks yesterday to replace the ones that died. They are a bit older than the others.

Back to work this week. Can't wait to face a classroom full of resistant teens!

Meant to take a picture this weekend but got sidetracked. DD is getting a sinus infection, fever of 99-102 all weekend. Was okay this morning, so is at school. Hope she stays well!!

I have started square #12. I have 11 acceptable squares completed, and a few funky ones that I will NOT be sending to anyone

Glad I'm not the only person that will have cat hair incorporated into my squares. Callie wants to 'help' any time she sees yarn out. For a little while this weekend I had BOTH cats cuddled against me trying to 'help'. When they fought over who got to help the most I put the project away for a little while!

Well, I did a little hookin this weekend, but don't have as many as you fast hookers done yet. I was counting them last night and noticed that some are really aweful.

I'm thinking, how come I didn't notice this before. So glad we still have time to get them done. My goal is to complete 37 or more.

Mawchick I love the pansy granny square. It looks so complicated. Definitely list the pattern when you get a chance. Congratulations on your hatch.

Tiki, it's snowing!

I'm so ready for real spring like weather. I'm tired of the snow, but dh loves it. He loves it sooooo much he booked us a last min quicky trip to Winter Park in Colorado this Fri to go skiing. I have invisions of me falling off the ski lift. I've never been skiing before. Stay warm!

JC, I'm so glad your son's asthma is better and I hope his poision ivy dries up fast. You poor thing, can't seem to get a break!

Ladies, I am just SO impressed with all of you! If I had to sew for long, I think I'd go starkraving mad! I ONLY sew when things need mending or on a special occasion like when I made my daughter's curtains. LOL I CAN sew but it would never be for fun. It's just not relaxing to me. I don't cross stitch for fun either... tried that once and it ended upside the wall. Um, yes, I threw it there.

Should I tell you ths story about the time I tried to crochet?

Uh, better not. I might have to recant all of this later!

So, CHEERS to all of you who are blessed with more sewing patience than I! Let me know when you're done and where it can be bought... THAT I might be up for!
