Ooh, haven’t been on this thread in a while! My room is all topsy-turvy right now, because we were redoing the floors. So my yarn is somewhere in the mess I really need to crochet something soon, it’s such a great stress reliever.

Awe what brand is your favorite yarn? I personally love caron but mostly use red heart super saver.. It is and its so mindless

I don’t really have a favorite, I’ve used all kinds. I just finished knitting (if I’m allowed to say that word on a crocheter’s thread ) a cowl, and I used Lion brand Scarfie yarn, which is super thick and soft. I’ve crocheted a shawl with that same yarn, pretty sure there’s a photo somewhere in this thread.

I’ve also been spinning my own yarn for the past couple years.

Ooh I love scarfie yarn . I made a winter set out of it... though I think it was scarfie lite yarn...
I love to knit too right now i am knitting a shawl for myself that has leaves, hearts, and lily of the valley flowers!

I bought the yarn to force myself to learn how to knit I’ve tried before, but I just couldn’t get it. But after a lot of trial and (mostly) error, I find it super easy and fun now.

Same I really just need videos and I get things thats how I learned to crochet knit and play the piano

I got ambitious and decided to straightened out my yarn. I have been keeping the yarn in a large cardboard drum, like a 55 gallon drum. Every time I went looking for a certain color all the yarn would unravel and get tangled up....

My husband keeps his extra "stuff" in old milk crates out in the barn. I confiscated his milk crates and put his "stuff" in buckets and gave him the cardboard drum in trade....

It took me three days to to straighten the crates and yarn out....
