Crocheters Thread

I think when it comes to granny squares, it is very common for it to take many years to do anything with them. I see it as multiple finished projects that are now one bigger one.
I was given a box of yarn, and some seem to be the color I need for matching my most recent squares. This is bad. I now have another reason to put off the blue blanket.

Row one of my newest WIP, I chose a G hook, thinking it might be too big. Row two, I went down to a F. Much better. I know chaining with a bigger hook is often recommended, so no problem there. Two stitches into row three, and I realized double crochet wasn’t an option either. That’s probably going to be an issue. It’s a good thing I’m blind now, I won’t have to see the problem.

FINALLY finished this!! It took soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo looooooooooooooooooooooooooong to do the hair!!!

I made it for my daughter’s birthday at the end of this month. Unfortunately, SHE’S A TWIN! And I have to make ANOTHER one! I don’t think I will make it in time maybe for Christmas!

You are too nice!!!! I’ve been crocheting for 4 years, and I’m addicted! I finished it today and I’m already thinking of starting the next project!! practice makes perfect, the doll pattern is just a bunch of singles!!
