My grandmother taught me to crochet making rag rugs and I still make a lot of them, I never throw away jeans or sheets, or well, anything, really. I remember those bread bag rugs, too. Now I collect those plastic shopping bags and cut those up and crochet reusable totes.

Here's my most recent rag rug project made from old blue jeans. I need to rework the border (again) just can't seem to get straight edges. The pattern came from an old book and had a lot of typos and I'm not sure I've found all of them yet.

I just finished making a kitty/small dog bed out of fleece scraps. I found the pattern on CraftStylish, there was also one that had the directions for making a T-Shirt Rag Rug... it looks like a lot of fun and with the work we do I have access to PLENTY of old t-shirts!!!

here's the link for the T-shirt Rag Rug
