Hi everyone! My name is Megan, i am new here to Back Yard Chickens. I have no idea if i'm doing this right! I know a LOT about chickens. I have been around them my whole life and have hatched more than i can count. Well i have a problem and need your help and advice. So my family and i are going on a 3 day trip with are travail trailer, sound fun right. But one problem i have a incubator full of eggs and they are due when we leave, ugh!
My dad said i could take the incubator along so i can be their when they hatch. Its going to be fun having chicks on a vacation but how am i going to keep them warm while we drive!! My mom suggested the crock pot. Warm it up to 100 digress before we leave. Its only an hour long drive and it should hold the temp. What do yall think? Any suggestions i need help! Are trip is in a week and im testing the crock pot now i hope this works.
