Congrats! I hope the one that pipped on the wrong end will make it3 pips! one pipped the wrong end i can see movement in one other egg, no sign of life in the rest though
Now I pray to have at least one male and one female...
I never owned quail (and I'm not planning on) but a friend hatched quail and ended up with a male. He kept it in with the females but had to seperate it from the others because it attacked (or whatever) the females really badly. He said that they have a different way of mating and he's not sure how the breeders do it so he let him free (something probably killed it).I believe it’s one male to 4 females... but don’t quote me on that. I didn’t really look into it as I didn’t plan on keeping more than one...
Yay!!!I hope that the one that pipped on the wrong end makes it too! Any updates @yakitori ? (Sorry I am late to the party. I was sleeping when you sent this.)3 pips! one pipped the wrong end i can see movement in one other egg, no sign of life in the rest though
