Greetings and Hello from the (currently soggy) coast of Ceredigion county in Wales!
My wife and I are complete newbies - we don't even have our chickens yet. We moved into our new house, and it began raining immediately. It has been raining and flooding all winter, so all our plans were put on hold. We haven't had a chance yet to rebuild the fence, dig out the garden, build the coop - today is the first day we could even spread the gravel foundation for the shed (which just involved dumping out a big sack of gravel).
As we wait for the weather to make up its mind and the ground to stop oozing like a bad meringue, I'm hoping to spend the time gaining as much knowledge as possible in preparation. My neighbor's rooster across the street provides our chicken-based entertainment for the time being.
