Crooked Coop

I managed to more or less master the sway back on the last one I built last year. Instead of one layer of 3/4" plywood, two layers of 3/8 laminated together. With the 1 1/2" drop from the gables to the center it's just sutble enough to tip your eyes off that something isn't quite right.

Excellent! Looks great! This is the one you built last year. It took a couple minutes to catch on. No snow. Flowers.

Had a 4H meeting last night so I only got an hour or so of shop time. None the less I got the roof sheathing knocked out.

I like the way this is looking. Got me rethinking my coop and run plans. I was thinking about converting a little tykes play house but this is really cool.

I dont get how your having trouble building a crooked coop. All mine turn out that way, haha. My excuse is that Im a mechanic not a carpenter.

People door on the other side is done, and I got a good deal of the roofing done (ran out of shakes), nest box built (ran out of cedar trim), and the pop door started over the weekend. Also I decided that it needed a "stove pipe" to continue with the "Suessian" theme.
