Crooked toes, bum leg? Update - advice still needed

I'm new to this too and while I have not had any issues with splayed toe but I have with a chick that had bum leg (she's better, not quite all the way but much better than last week) so I hope your little chick heals! I might suggest using a heating pad (one that doesn't have auto shut off) for the little chick you've separated? Cover with a towel or something so she can sit on it and be warm. There's a couple of posts on here about using one as a heater for brooder but I'm thinking that since this is short term, you may not need to make it like that.

Thanks everyone. I never could get the chick to do more than drink water with some nutridrench mixed in and she passed away this morning. Poor thing. I think there may have been something else wrong with her besides crooked toes and splay legs. When I took her wraps off I noticed that the foot on the weaker side was smaller than the other and thinking back the last few days the eye on that side would stay closed longer when waking up. Almost like neurological damage to the whole side but I don’t know a lot about chick diseases so 🤷🏻‍♀️

I appreciate all the comments and suggestions. The other 3 chicks are doing great and I hope they continue to thrive

I'm sorry to hear that. It's hard losing the little guys but I really think you did everything you possibly could. You're probably right in that there was more going on.
