Crop Bound Capsules - Impacted crop / Sour crop

Check her for a stuck egg. Keep in mind that false negative fecals are quite common, so I would consider de-worming her with Safeguard.

Don't you see worms in their poop? Also, can't it hurt them to de-worm them if they are not feeling well. I only have 4 chickens. They live in my backyard and are very suburban and pampered. Do you think that they chances of worms are possible in that environment?

It is a little bigger than golf ball today. She was tested at the vet for parasites and bacteria in her poo. All Negative. She hasn't laid in like 6 months. She is molting and is about 4.
4 years old is quite old.. Don't want to scarre you, but it could be tumors.

They can get worms on any dirt. Only large roundworms and tapeworms are large enough to see. Cecal worms can be seen, but they are really tiny. Capillary worms are quite small and they can be found in the crop, esophagus and intestines.
