1) Isa brown, newly laying hen , same weight as others
2) 6 days ago I picked up one of my hens she threw up. After reading i understand they don’t vomit so I withdrew water and food for twelve hours and inspected crop, it was still full. I massaged and she gurgled and “vomited“ again. I separated her. And believing it was sour crop (despite not a super strong smell - don’t have any knowledge or history to compare it to, it smelt gross but not horrendous) i introduced apple cider vinegar in her water and withheld food for an additional 12 hours. I fed scrambled eggs after that and again in the morning crop still not emptied. I did 5 days monstat 7 treatments 1/3 suppository orally am &pm ) and soft food only (plain oatmeal, scrambled eggs, playing greek Yougart , soaked feed and apple cider vinegar in water. Access to silica and oyster shells. shes drinking and she’s eating until she’s full and then it won’t empty until I massage her. When I massage on empty I feel small pebble like texture (like the size of nerd candies)

Now the monistat treatment is over she has not gotten better but I don’t think she’s any worse she’s eating and drinking

Other symptoms is she is hunched and twitches her head maybe more frequently then others, seems puffed up, not laying eggs, her stool looks hard in comparison to the others. Her comb is bright and she’s really not lethargic yet.

4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
One other hen crop vomited when I checked the others 6 days ago when she had the symptom but all other 7 woke up with an empty crop and never had any continued issues.

6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.

We bought these chickens a month ago, all same place same breed same age. Built coop and run and introduced them the same time.
We have long grass and we spoiled the chickens because they’re new owners so perhaps ate too much of that. Also we loved watching them eat worms from the garden.
Feel like it’s probably something foreign she ate or something we did being new owners ?

10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? treat completely myself, no vet care available

12) poultry shavings

Plan today is Epson soaks and perhaps some sort of laxative?

Her backside is free and clear of any poop and no bulging or discharge and looks like her vent is healthy color and clean.

-Edited spelling and updated treatment so far specifics

Yes, an Epsom salts flush is the next thing you can do if the miconazole doesn't clear up the yeast.

You will need a tubing kit. Ask for one from your vet or order it off Amazon. The treatment is intense, but I've had hens tolerate it very well and actually be energized by it.

The solution is one-half cup water with one teaspoon Epsom salts dissolved. Tube all of this solution into the hen, and do another half cup again in the late afternoon. Do this three days in a row.

This will neutralize the yeast and flush it out of her system.
