Crop impaction?

My hen is doing a weird thing where she bobs her head down swiftly. It looks like she is trying to do something with her crop. I felt it after I saw this, and it felt relatively solid but still squishable, and about the size of a small golf ball. She did eat when I offered her food, but did drink when I offered water. Is this an impacted crop? If so, what can I do to cure it? Will it fix itself?
Any help is appreciated, thanks

A normal crop is golf ball size. It changes size according to when a chicken eats and how much they eat. To determine if a chicken has a crop disorder, you need to take up food and water at bedtime, and check the crop first thing in the morning before she eats or drinks. If it's still full then, she may have a crop issue.
